Social Golf

All social groups and players are welcome all day, 7 days a week. We don’t competitions.

GROUPS OF 12 OR MORE

  • Only $28 for 18 holes on weekdays

All groups of 50 or more will receive 10% discount on pro shop stock

COURSE CARE

REPAIRING PITCH MARKS

  • Pitch marks on greens must be repaired
  • Start at the back of the mark and push forward with the repairer.
  • Use repairer around all sides and slowly ease turf toward the centre of the mark. Do not lift the soil upwards.
  • Lightly tap down with putter.

REPAIRING DIVOTS

  • Divots must be repaired
  • Remove any loose turf from the affected area.
  • Knock in all sides of the edge of the divot with your club or your shoe.
  • Fill the divot with sand

BUNKERS

  • Enter the bunker at the lowest point.
  • Pull rake toward you as you exit the bunker.
  • If required, rake other affected area.
  • Do not pile sand at the edge of the bunker. Push back excess sand.
  • Do not rake the face of the bunker. Smooth out with the back of rake.

Before leaving a bunker players should carefully fill up and smooth over all holes and footprints, and then leave the rake with the handle pointing toward the tee of the hole being played. Please always leave the rake as close to the bunker edge as possible on the low side of the bunker.

GREENS -FLAGSTICKS, BAGS ETC.

Players and caddies should ensure they cause no damage to the green when putting down bags or the flagstick. Please do not stand too close to the hole when handling the flagstick or removing the ball. Replace the flagstick on leaving the green.

HANDLING THE FLAG

  • Don’t drop the flagstick on the putting surface.
  • Lower the flagstick by club or by hand.
  • Avoid damage to surrounds by placing the stick in the centre of the cup.

GOLF CART

To avoid the damage to the course;

  • Keep the golf cart 10 meters away from Greens, Tees and Water at all times
  • Do not drive between bunkers and the green edge
  • Do not drive through damaged or wet areas
  • Drive only where directed

Local Rules

COURSE REGULATIONS

  • Dress – All players must be neatly attired.
  • Equipment – Each player must have a set of clubs.
  • Course practice – Having more than 2 balls in play is prohibited.
  • Course care – Please replace divots, repair pitch marks on green and smooth sand bunkers.
  • Keep golf carts 10 metres from greens, tees and water.
  • Play – Maximum of 4 players per group.
  • Please play without undue delay.
  • Please observe the rules of Golf.

WATER HAZARDS

All waterways are to be treated as a lateral hazard.

OBSTRUCTIONS

The clubhouse, pergolas, garden beds, practice putting green, bridges, signs, irrigation shed, formed pathways and service roads may be treated as obstructions. A ball may be dropped at the nearest point which avoids these conditions, no nearer the hole without penalty.

SPRINKLER HEADS

Should a sprinkler head

  • Interfere with a player’s stance or intended swing
  • Interfere with the intended line of play when the ball is on or within two club lengths of the putting surface

The ball may be dropped in a position that avoids these conditions, no nearer the hole without penalty.

OUT OF BOUNDS

Out of bounds is defined by course fencing, marker stakes and includes the carpark. The rules of golf apply.

OVERHEAD WIRES

A ball striking overhead wires or power station may be replayed without penalty.
